It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Josephine Burke (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 28, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Robert Devison; her husband Bernie Burke; her granddaughter Diana Barkhouse; and her siblings, Robert Devison (Buddy), Raymond Devison, Naish Devison, Stashia Deveaux, Rita Emond, Marie Stashuk, Annie Devison and Evelyn Devison.
She is survived by: her parent Annie Devison (Martin); her grandchildren, Kim Sullivan (Allan), Shauna Campbell, Jason Campbell, Mark O'Keefe (Tracey), Tara O'Keefe, Ryan O'Keefe (Jacqueline) and Shelby Burke; her sister Sis MacDonald; her friend Blanche Brown; and also Glace Bay. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Friends of the Manor, Alzheimer's Association or to a charity of one's choice.
