With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Nicholson (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), born in Birch Grove, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 20, 2018 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roy Nicholson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Nicholson and Janie Nicholson (Smith); his wife Beverly; and his brothers, Allan, Wesley and Donald (Nick).

He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Byrne (Peter) and Daniel Nicholson (Shelley); his grandchildren, Tyler, Patrick, Leah and Landon; his siblings, Audrey Burke, Jean McInnis, Glace Bay, Peggy Hummer (Bill), Birch Grove, Florence Vokey (Freeman) and Murray Nicholson; his siblings-in-law, Vernon MacDonald and Helen Nicholson; and also, Allan Nicholson, Glace Bay and Birch Grove.
