We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2018, at the age of 79, Roy Emerson Nicholson (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), born in Birch Grove, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Nicholson and Janie Nicholson (Smith); his wife Beverly; and his brothers, Allan, Wesley and Donald (Nick).

He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Byrne (Peter) of Glace Bay and Daniel Nicholson (Shelley); his grandchildren, Tyler, Patrick, Leah and Landon; his siblings, Audrey Burke, Jean McInnis, Glace Bay, Peggy Hummer (Bill), Birch Grove, Florence Vokey (Freeman) and Murray Nicholson of Birch Grove; his siblings-in-law, Vernon MacDonald of Birch Grove and Helen Nicholson of Glace Bay; and also Allan Nicholson.
