He was predeceased by: his parent Chesley Rideout; his spouse Phyllis Rideout (Commins); and his brother Clayton. He is survived by: his parent Isabella Rideout (Trenchard); his brothers, Ralph (Debbie), Glace Bay and Doug Hawkesbury (Port); and his sister-in-law Rhoda Commins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
