He was predeceased by: his parent James Thomas; his wife Camilla Thomas (Martin); his son Darrell; his siblings, Margaret, Eileen, Theresa, Charles, John, Joseph, Vincent, Michael, Henry and Leo; and his sons-in-law, Dougie and Cyril.

He is survived by: his parent Martha Thomas (Curry); his significant other Judy; his children, Charles (Kim), Theresa, Gail, Debbie and Marlene (John); and his grandchildren, Jeanette, Darrell, Ashley, Stephen, Krista, Justin, Devin, Ryan, Amanda and Alexander.
