He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zwarun and Maria Zwarun (Eleniak); and his siblings, Millie Spalding, Billy, Peter and John.

He is survived by: his son Robert; his siblings, Julie Troicuk, Stephanie Campbell Byrne, Celia Laverdure (Roger), Repentigny, Stephen and Frederick Zwarun; and his close friend Myers MacNeil.
