We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2021, at the age of 69, Melvin Mugford (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Roy Mugford; his former wife Barb; his mother Audrey Mugford (Bond); his siblings-in-law, Joe and Doris; and also, Ivy and Cyril.
He is survived by: his daughter Tanya (Andy Mahar); his grandson Nick; his son Mark; his wife Natasha; his daughters, Chelsea, Aleah, Audrianna, Chloe, Girls and Katia (Phil); his grandchildren, Charlie and Romeo (Montreal); his siblings, Charlene Pelletier (Ron), Roy (Cathy), Monica MacDonald (Graham), Jim Mugford (Eileen), Eric Mugford (Sabina), Kevin Mugford (Linda), Norma Currie (Adrian), Allan Mugford and Carson Mugford (Donna); his parents-in-law, Donna MacPhee (Jerry), Patricia (Ben Chisholm), Rosann (Jeff Hurley), Jean Phillips (Stephen) and Cyril "Teddy" Macdonald; his uncle Mel; his aunts, Eileen Norton and Linda Bond; his nephew Connor; and also, Jay O'Brien and Carolyn MacNeil.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, 5:00pm at the Salvation Army Glace Bay, by invitation only due to Covid-19 restrictions.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army GB or any foundation close to your own heart.
