She was predeceased by: her parent Ronald Gardiner; and her siblings, Patricia, Frank (Elizabeth), John (Catherine) and Andrew.

She is survived by: her parent Mary Josephine Gardiner (Strang); her brother Ignatius Gardiner (Maxine); her sister-in-law Pauline Gardiner (Gardiner Mines); and her significant other Anita Budden. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
