Mary Marjorie Burke Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Marjorie Burke (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 16, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Bray and Jesse Bray (McKinnon); her husband Walter Burke; and her siblings, Lillian MacInnis, Rose "Torchy" Miles, Pauline Joinson, Gertrude Wilson, Gerald, Robert, Josiah Bray and Milton Hall.

She is survived by: her children, Paul (Leslie), Sheldon (Lisa) and Dawn (Travis); her grandchildren, Bryan, Candace (Matthew), Bridget, Taylor (Justin) and Jared; her great grandchild Madeline; and her sister-in-law Marion Burke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Marjorie's memory may be made to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church.
