She was predeceased by: her parent Julia Yates (MacDonald); her husband Cecil; her siblings, Thomas, Bobby and Alice Seward; and her son-in-law Darryl Bach.

She is survived by: her parent Edwin Yates; her children, Jim (Thelma), Jane Anne Barrett and Sheena Bach; her granddaughters, Angela Deveaux, Kimberley Barrett, Kristen Bach and Julia Bach; her great grandchildren, Chris Deveaux (Olivia Colosimo) and Sarah Deveaux; her sister Coleen Morrison (Joe); and her sisters-in-law, Shirley MacPherson and Janice Barrett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
