We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2022, at the age of 96, Margaret Frances MacQueen (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), born in Port Morien, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Martell and Amy Martell (Francis); her husband Skipper; her siblings, William (Edna), Ethel, Raymond, Harold, John (Faye), Loren (Thelma), Audrey (Don), Kenneth (Anita), Murray (Sylvia) and Marion (Ted); her parents-in-law, Duncan and Jane MacQueen; and her sisters-in-law, Clara Andrews (Ernie) and Kaye MacQueen.
She is survived by: her former husband Archibald 'Skipper MacQueen; her children, Lois Partin (Rod), Allan, Ethel Campbell (Barrie), Duncan (Kim), Ginny McLanders (Glenn), Sydney, John (Anne), Brampton and Stephen (Diane); her grandchildren, Michael (Cindy), Lindsay, Jeff (Kaeleigh), Leah (Colin), Lauren, Jenna (Adam), Anna (Dave), Brett (Alex), Brandon, Korri (Christian), Jamie (Zach), Kelsey, Mark (Hailey), Katie, Shailyn and Faith; her great grandchildren, Mya, Clark, Olivia, Cole, Elsie and Abigail; and her siblings, Lillian Pettipas (Alf), Alice MacLeod and Jerry Martell (Betty).
Donations in Mom's honor may be made to St. John's United Church Cemetery Fund Port Morien or the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia.
