It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kurtis Mackie (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 20, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John Bernard Mackie, Mose Saccary and Alice Saccary; his aunts and uncles, Shirley Doucette, Joan MacLeod, Marion Saccary, Wendell Mackie and Lockie MacLeod; and his cousins, Leon Mackie and Brandon Kelly.
He is survived by: his parents, Kevin Mackie and Dollena Mackie (Saccary); his sibling Angela; his nieces and nephews, Wyatt and Elin; his grandparent Thelma Mackie (Currie); and his godchildren, Emma McCormick, Chloe McCormick and Kaily McCormick.
