She was predeceased by: her parents, James Burden and Catherine Burden (Gillis); her husband David Price; her brother Donald Burden; and her nephew Jeffrey Burden.

She is survived by: her daughters, Alana Price (Andrew) and Alyson Colford (Bruce); her grandsons, Logan and Luke Colford; her sister Jane Clark (Bruce); and her sister-in-law Anne Burden. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and her cherished group of friends.

Donations in memory may be made to the Glace Bay General Hospital Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton, Knox United Church, or a charity of choice.
