She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bird and Ida Bird; and her siblings, Ronald, Richard and Margaret.

She is survived by: her children, Esther Hannan, Francis Gooddellow, Kathy Decker, Teresa Greenough and James McNeil; and her siblings, Mary Johnston, Laura Brocklebank and Robert.
