John Stephen Shewchuck Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Stephen Shewchuck (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 25, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marg Shewchuck and Steve Shewchuck; his uncle Met; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda O'Neil (White) and John O'Neil.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Shewchuck (White); his daughter Stephanie Whalen (Hughie); his grandson Nathan; his sisters, Jean Marie Pettipas (Marcel), Ruth King (Earl), Kathy Latour (Richard) and River Ryan; and his siblings-in-law, David White (Shirley), Allen White (Shelley), Todd White (Jennifer), Sydney Mines, Bruce White (Sherry) and Patsy MacNeil (Frank). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donation may be made in Stephen's memory to Taigh-Na-Mara or Alzheimer's society of Nova Scotia.
