He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Aucoin and Mary Aucoin (MacInnis); his siblings, Katie Gillis (Rannie), Margie Yates (Louis), Theresa MacKenzie (Alex), Elizabeth Murphy (Eddie), Clementine Parsons (Art), Jessie Denittis (Michael), Benny (Doreen), Eugene, Angus and Simon (June); his stepbrother Bernie Hart (Annie); and his pet Hollie.

He is survived by: his wife Josephine Aucoin (Lecointe); his children, Christopher Aucoin, Richard Aucoin and Joleine Aucoin (Tristan Greer); and his sister Julia Fitzpatrick (Ivan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
