Jessie Groves Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Groves (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), born in Port Morien, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 21, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary McDonald (Debison) and Wilson McDonald; her husband George Groves; and her sisters, Alice Groves, Grace Crawford, Emma McPhee and Anne Lloyd.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda McEwan (Sheldon); her grandchildren, Aaron McEwan and Jennifer McEwan (Troy Lee); her great grandchildren, Deven McEwan and Hunter Lee; her sisters-in-law, May MacDonald and Lill Talbot; her brothers, Alex and Frank MacDonald; and her siblings-in-law, Eli Groves, John Crawford, Joe McPhee, Melvin Lloyd, Susie Morgan and Effie MacDonald. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Do to COVID restrictions there will no public visitations.
