It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Irma McInnis (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), born in Birch Grove, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Nicholson and Jane Nicholson (Smith); her husband Donald McInnis; her siblings, Wesley, Allan, Murray, Donald, Roy "Butch" (Beverly), Neila MacRury (Archibald), Mora MacDonald (Vernon) and Florence Vokey; and her siblings-in-law, David Burke, Mable Hickman (George), Mary Gill (Roy) and Florence McInnis.
She is survived by: her sisters, Audrey Burke and Peggy Hummer (Bill); and her siblings-in-law, Helen Nicholson and Freeman Vokey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
