He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roach and Annie Roach (MacInnis); his siblings, Annie Stacia, Catherine Elizabeth, John, Duncan, William, Daniel, Charles and Laurie Wilson; his niece Lorna Bowers; and his nephew Carter Hudson.
He is survived by: his sister Catherine Shea; and his sisters-in-law, Margie Roach, Carrie Roach, Glace Bay and Kathryn Dickson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials or charitable donations may be made to Warden United Church, Glace Bay Hospital Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
