She was predeceased by: her parent John Currie; and her siblings, John Currie, Margie Kelly and Germaine Stevenson. She is survived by: her parent Mary Currie (Coleman); her husband Michael Gregory O'Brien; her daughters, Arlene Taylor (David), Shelly Gates (Bruce) and Kelly O'Brien (Paul); and her sisters, Bernice Steele (Alex) and Anne O'Laney (Bernie). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
