With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glace Bay Ray Purchase (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), who passed away on June 10, 2018 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie; and his son-in-law Maurice Renaud. He is survived by: his children, Elayne Bonnell (Ray), Peter Purchase Goose Bay (Flora), Labrador Renaud and Joanne Renaud; his grandchildren, Aaron, Evan, John and Mark; his great grandchildren, Dahlia Jordyn, Owen Jordyn, Penelope Jordyn, Christopher Jordyn and Pauly Jordyn; his nephew Franklin Purchase (Cathy); his sister-in-law Grace; and also, Craig Purchase (Julie) and Kevin Purchase.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Knox United Church, Glace Bay, N.S. on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. We welcome memorial donations to Knox United Church or the Mission and Service Fund, United Church of Canada.
