She was predeceased by: her parent Charles McKinnon; her brother Francis; her niece Brett; her stepfather Allan; and also, Fra, Sonny and MacMullin.
She is survived by: her mother Lorraine McKinnon; her grandchildren, Aiden Mines, Tallia Mines, Kalli Mines and Reserve Mines; her son Rodney Bay (Dawn); her siblings, Alan, Melva Chiasson and Charlaine Chiasson (Michael); her friend Angie MacDougall; and also Glace Bay. She is also survived by her aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County.
