It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glace Bay Agnes Maurina Stubbard (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 27, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Shelly, George, Marion Saccary, Josie Timmons, Lillian Paulin and Gerry Turnbull; her nephews, Jimmy McNeil, Rod, Tub and Stubbard; and her niece Wanda McNeil.

She is survived by: her children, Connie Wrathall (Wayne) of Dominion and Fred Bay (Stella); her siblings, Erville Mines, Carol Williams (James), Glace Bay, Velma McNeil (Al Burke), Isabel Donovan (Andrew) and Reserve Mines; her grandchildren, Kiley of Jamie and Mason; her stepgrandchild Jennifer of Kristen, R. J.; her friends, Bonnie McNeil (Allie) and Vivian Boutilier; and also, Glace Bay, Reserve Mines and Maggie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Maurina's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Society.
