George Bourgeois Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Bourgeois (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 10, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Charlie Bourgeois; and his siblings, Eloise Colson, Irene Campbell, Alonso, Charles, Merlin, Edeline and Earl.

He is survived by: his parent Thelma Bourgeois (Gratto); his wife Gertrude "Gert" (Nearing); his children, Nelson (Brenda) of Glace Bay, George (Doris) of Glace Bay, Beverly Boland (Raymond) of Glace Bay, Raymond (Valerie) of Glace Bay, Charles (Maurina) of Glace Bay, Brian (Merle) of Glace Bay, Gwen Gracie (Wayne) of Glace Bay, Leonella Ferguson (Donald) of Glace Bay, Michelle Gosbee (Cecil), Inverness, Derek (Kathleen), Danny and Carolee MacNeil (Shawn); and his siblings, Halle and Cora.
