He was predeceased by: his parent Freeman Rogers; his wife Helen Rogers (MacGillivary); his children, George Rogers, Norma Farrell (Rogers) and Marie LeBlanc; and his siblings, Theresa, Helen, Alice, Mary, Caroline, Louis, Tommy and Freeman John.

He is survived by: his parent Mary Rogers (Rennie); his son Gerald; his sisters, Louise Chisholm (late John B.), Eileen Turner (Earl) and Halifax; his grandchildren, Kimberly LeBlanc (Chris), Bradley LeBlanc (Rebecca), Jason Farrell (Janet), Craig Farrell (Nicole), Justin Rogers and Ashli Rogers; and his great grandchildren, Emma Rogers and Jenna Farrell.
