He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Mackie and Sarah Mackie (MacNeil); his son Dwayne; his son-in-law Blain Gouthro; and his siblings, Geraldine, Mary, John and Greg.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Mackie (Wrathall); his daughters, Darlene Mackie, Brenda McNeil (Murray) and Pauline Gouthro; his daughter-in-law Shelley Duggan; his grandchildren, Sarah, Hillary, Samantha, Aaron, Emma, Randy, Ashley and Eileen; his great grandchildren, Irelynn, Priscilla, Holly, Tatum, Vaida and Luke; his sisters, Theresa Lemoine, Annette Campbell, Pauline Degiobbi (Leno) and Marilyn McMullin (Joe); and his aunt Alice Kyte. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
