With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence Mary Kelly (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 5, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gaston Rooney and Lauretta (Merlin); her husband Ted; and her brothers, Ottie (Bella), Art (Mary), Charles (Beatrice), Johnny (Mamie) and Danny (Lil).
She is survived by: her children, Brian Halifax (Cabrini), Colleen Lapierre Sydney (Wayne), Paula Starke (Brent), Emmitt Halifax (Karen), Dennis Edmonton (Rhonda), Johnny Ottawa (Joane), Marilyn Dartmouth (Brian), Colin and Rosemary; her grandchildren, Jarrod Lapierre, Leanne Starke, Lisa Starke, Michael Kelly, Jonathan Kelly, Connor MacDonald, Lauren MacDonald and Paige MacDonald; her great grandchildren, Cameron, Caiden, Brooke and Reid; and her sister-in-law Helen "Toot" Leclair.
