He was predeceased by: his parents, Murdoch J. MacDonald and Georgina MacDonald (MacLeod). He is survived by: his wife Isabel MacDonald (Gillis); his siblings, Nelson and Helen of Toronto; his children, Evan of Halifax, Bruce (Bonnie) and Belle (Eric Hoogwerf); his grandchildren, Allister, Ashton and Kaitlyn MacDonald; and his children, Peggy Murchison (Earl), Elaine Hayes (Pete), Holly Bolivar (Bryden), Carter Hayes (Paulette) and Jamie Hayes (Kelley). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
