Donald Ferguson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Ferguson (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), born in Homeville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Hortense (Spencer) and William Allison Ferguson; his wife Effie Jane (MacQueen); and his siblings, Edie Phillips and John.

He is survived by: his children, Jane Anne Ferguson, David Homeville (Mary), Gordon Homeville (Wendy) and Stuart (Belinda); his grandchildren, Stephen, Matthew, Sarah Jane, Andrea, Beth Ann, Daniel, Baillie, Kelsey and Paige; his great grandchildren, Keigan, Noah, Ella, Keira, Gisele, Lyla, Simon and Annalyse; his brother Spencer Ferguson (Carol); his friend David Howie; and his close friend Dwayne MacLeod. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to covid restrictions a private family service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
