She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew "Gumps"; her daughter Catherine Elizabeth; her sister Kay McInnis; and her son-in-law Vernon Nash. She is survived by: her daughter Charlene Halifax (Nash); her brother Johnny MacKinnon (Marion Bridge); and her grandsons, Bradley Halifax (Catherine) and Brian Kinkora (Michelle). She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made in Charlotte's name to St Paul's Presbyterian church , Glace Bay.
