He was predeceased by: his parent Peter Nickelo. He is survived by: his parent Margaret Nickelo (Cooper); his wife Ann Nickelo (Wilson); his sons, Peter Vincent (Joan), James Ervin (Nadia) and Lakeshore; his sister Mary Shibinette; his grandchildren, Peter Alexander (Heidi), Geoffrey Francis (Jasmine), Laura Ann (Nathan), Sarah Marie, Aidan James and Dylan Carl; his great grandchildren, Ashton Chester and Peter Declan; and also Glace Bay.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Peter may be made to a charity of one's choice.
