We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2023, at the age of 93, Margaret Emma Almon of Georges River, Nova Scotia, born in Florence, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel McIntyre and Angelina McIntyre (Hosking); her husband Frank Almon; her son Billy Almon (Hank); her grandson James MacTaggart; her son-in-law Gerard MacTaggart; her siblings, Sammy, Louis, Harry, Elmer McIntyre, Mary Almon and Angeline Johnston; and her siblings-in-law, Jean McIntyre, Bernice McIntyre, Bill Almon, Louis Almon and Chalmers Johnston.
She is survived by: her children, Gene (Michelle), Frank (Michelle), Jerome (Gerard), Mary Elizabeth Almon, Laura Almon (Jack) and Jenny Parks (John); and her siblings, Anne Almon, Bernadette Finney (Danny) and Tom McIntyre. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society or a charity of choice.
