We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2025, at the age of 56, Kimberly Jones of Georges River, Nova Scotia, born in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kimberly Jones to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, William "Bill", Melvina Jessome, Kim, Wilfred and Martha Jones; her mother Paulette Matthews (Halifax); and also Ronald Billard.
She is survived by: her son Ryan (Kerry); her grandchildren, Tyson, Ava, Mya, Alexa and Landen; her sister Kim Peters (Craig); her nephew Joshua; her niece Kaylee; her brother Tim Jessome (Donna); her nieces and nephews, Christopher, Shirley, Kryssy and Angie; her stepfather Ronnie Matthews; and her friends, Ginny, Heather, Belinda, Alana, Carolyn, Wendy and Tiny. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Anglican Church (24 King St, North Sydney, NS B2A2S4).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kim's name to the Cape Breton Cancer Center.
