She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Reid and Hector Reid; her husbands, Malcolm Bates and Allen Perry; her brothers, Louis and Edwin Reid; and her grandson Travis.

She is survived by: her sons, Derek (Susan) and Karl Perry (Lorri); her grandchildren, Lindsay, Karlee, Shannan and Luke; her siblings, Janet Swan (Holly), Myrna Coy and Ken Reid (Linda); and her sister-in-law Eunice Smith (Ron). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date and donations in memory can be made to a charity of choice.
