He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Doucette and Marion Prime; his stepfather Wilbert Patterson (Wimp); his sister Rowena Patterson; his grandparents, Melba and Percy Prime; his aunt Stella; and his uncles, Ivan, Daniel, Clifton and Kurt.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis (Mac); his children, Krista Denton (Robbie) of West Chezzetcook, NS and Keith Patterson (Wendy) of Saint John; his grandchildren, Tonia Stevens (Josh) of Porters Lake, NS, Brandon Denton (Amanda) of Halifax, NS, Riley Patterson of Saint John, NB and Ashley Graves (Jeff) of Saint John, NB; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Nathan, Dallas, Keegan, Riley, Nevaeh and Aubree; his brother George Patterson (Alison Patterson); his stepsiblings, Heidi, Walter, Patrick, Alice and Hanna; and his aunts, Janet and Rowena.
