She was predeceased by : her grandmother Florence Aikens; her husband William Edwards; her father Buddy Aikens; her grandparents, Ross Aikens, Nellie and Frank Blair; and her granddaughter Emily Jewell.

She is survived by : her mother Leitha Aikens (Blair); her children, Kimberley Jewell and Scott McInnis; and her siblings, Phyllis, Harold and Keith. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great- grandchildren and extended family.
