She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward Taylor and Sadie Taylor (MacInnis); her husband Wensley Power; her daughter Louise Power; and her siblings, Geneva, Ada, Alma, Alex, John Roddie, James and Hughie.

She is survived by: her sons, Wensley (Michelle), Danny (Linda) and Paul (Karen); her son-in-law Mohamed Elgadi; her grandsons, Tim (Mariette), Nick (Cassie), Chris (Jenn), Caleb (Paige) and Ryan (Peter); her great grandchildren, Brook, Ava, Ivan and Eliot; her sisters, Anne Burton (Joey), Brenda Greene (Bernie) and Flora Dugas; and her sister-in-law Isabel Taylor.
