It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn (Wood) Sampson of Florence, Nova Scotia, born in Canning, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 27, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Avery Wood and Alma Wood (Whalen); her husband John Sampson of Florence; and her close friend Rachael Taylor. She is survived by : her children, James (Sally), Carolyn and Marlene MacKenzie (Bill); her grandchildren, Troy Sampson, Allison, Ryan (Kate), Christine and John MacKenzie; her great grandchildren, Cody Brown, Wyatt Sampson and Jackson MacKenzie; and her siblings-in-law, Alice Miles, Frank and Harold Sampson.

If you wish, donations in her memory may be made to Clyde Ave. Baptist Church, the SPCA, or a charity of one's choice.
