He was predeceased by : his parents, George T. Barrie and Cecilia Barrie (Cantwell); his daughter Kathy (Martin Tompkins); and his siblings, Nathaniel, Adrian, Gerald and Adelaide Clancy.

He is survived by : his wife Theresa (Steffens); his children, Wayne, Doreen (Cameron Buffett), Stephen and Beth (Walter Serroul); and his siblings, Bernadette Whitten, Ann Quinn and Mac. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
