He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Cavanaugh and Alice Cavanaugh (Gallop); his wife Patricia Cavanaugh (Harris); his son Darryl; his brother David; his siblings-in-law, Vic Hollywood, Charles Harris (Marie), Russell MacDonald (Mary), Eric Carey, Fred Musgrave and Debbie Harris; and his nephews, Brian Harris and Russell MacDonald Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Patsy Young (Jeff), Carole Ann Shaw (Chris), Alberta and Clifford (Margaret); his grandchildren, Tiffany, Brehanna (Brandon Jessome), Emily, Ryan, Jeremy and Teegan Shaw; his great grandchildren, Emma, Briarleigh, Ezra and Ariella; his siblings, Millie Hillier (Alex), Wanda Hollywood and Wayne Cavanaugh (Camillus); and his siblings-in-law, Tina Sacco (Frank), Sarah Musgrave, Bert, Lloyd (Dolores) and Kenny Harris (Tina). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
