It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Catherine Ida Squires of Florence, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 90, on February 20, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Imrie of Scotland and Naomi Imrie (Doucette); her husband William "Willie" Squires; and her sisters, Helen Gerrow, Anne MacDonald (Imrie), Shirley Tobin and Barbara MacLean.

She is survived by : her sister Betty Gracie. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

Memorial donations on her behalf can be made towards mental health and Alzheimer Society Nova Scotia.
