She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Imrie of Scotland and Naomi Imrie (Doucette); her husband William "Willie" Squires; and her sisters, Helen Gerrow, Anne MacDonald (Imrie), Shirley Tobin and Barbara MacLean.
She is survived by: her sister Betty Gracie. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Memorial donations on her behalf can be made towards mental health and Alzheimer Society Nova Scotia.
