It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Crant of Florence, Nova Scotia, born in Truro, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 20, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dyken and Ali van Dyken (Hop); her husband Jim Crant; and her sister Aldertina "Alma" Shea. She is survived by: her children, Genevieve Read (Adam) and John Crant; her grandchildren, Adelle of Nerepis, NB. and Jamie Read of Nerepis, NB.; and her siblings, Henderika (Ricky) of Groot and Lineke Lemieux.
