He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Curry and Marion Curry (Lockhart); his wife Shirley; his siblings, Leon, Charles, Eric, Art, Cyril, Richard and Marie; and his siblings-in-law, John Lawrence, Ron Robinson and Carole Peterson.

He is survived by: his children, Joy Dempsey (Dwight), Alonzo (Angela), Timothy, Janet Wile (Brian), James, Jill Randall (Rick) and Sarah Frank (Jason); his grandchildren, Katie (Ryan), Tyler (Fallon), Brandon (April), Kristen (Max), Jesse (Hilary), Barrett, Lillie (Patrick), Max (Olivia), Kailyn (Ryan), Amelia and Jorja; his great grandchild Tessa; his siblings, Thomas (Marilyn) and Elizabeth (Stewart); and his siblings-in-law, Joan Lawrence, Margaret Curry and Gordon Boyd (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
