He was predeceased by: his parents, John Weir and Elizabeth Weir (Aird). He is survived by: his wife Margaret of Hantsport; his daughters, Audrey (Findlay Muir), Lillian (Robert Patrick) and Deborah Weir; his brother Bill Weir (Eileen); his stepchildren, Craig Muir (Meta) and Fraser Muir; and his stepgrandsons, Nathan, Logan and Gabriel Muir.
