He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine Mathilda Richey (MacPherson) and Vivian Praul Richey; his wife Shirley Katherine MacLeod of Port Dufferin; his son David; and his siblings, James, Earl, C. Douglas, Maude, Louise Crockett (Irene) and Ethel Crockett.
He is survived by: his children, Brian (Denise), Karen, Carol (Gordon), James (Heather) and Janet; and his daughter-in-law Lorraine. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
