He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Olive Marie Dodge (Porter) and Charles Lloyd "Bud" Dodge; his wife Susan (Hames); his children, Ashley (Alexander Dart), Michael (Cecy Guevara), Abby and Emily; his siblings, Karen (Bert Pendergast), David (Shawn O'Riley) and Ann (Mark Smith); his grandsons, William, Logan, Bryson and Bennett; his friend Brian; his grandfathers, William, Logan, Bryson and Bennett; and his pet Marley. He was also cherished by loving relatives and friends.
