He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Paul Hilchie; his parents, Frank Stuart and Margaret Stuart (Howlett); and his brothers-in-law, Peter and Steven Hilchie.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jean Stuart (Hilchie); and his sisters, Elaine Elliot (Robert) and Virginia Lee (Mel). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
