He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Chesal and Vlasta Chesal. He is survived by: his siblings, Marie (Barry), Joe, Carl (Janet), Stan (Celeste) and Jane (Colin); his wife Ellen; his children, Leeann St Clair (Marc), Pam Chesal, Eddie Chesal (Julia) and Tricia Chesal (Matt); his grandchildren, Kristina, Amber, Christopher, Mathew, Owen and Vince; his great grandchildren, Danielle, Nathan, Carter, Cooper, Ayven and Sage; and his pet River.

In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made to St Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Tony's memory.
