He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Googoo and Gladys Googoo; and his siblings, Beverly Googoo of Waycobah, Nancy Martin (Jim) of Waycobah, Carol Googoo of Waycobah, Marjorie Pierro, Charlene Googoo, Monica Paul, Barbara Denny of Eskasoni and Charles Googoo of Waycobah.
He is survived by: his grandmother Nancy Paul; his daughters, Natasha Kakepetum (Ace) and Rochelle Meekis; his grandchildren, Ava, Jaida and Kiana; and his godchildren, Maya Oakley and Justin Dennis.
