She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurence MacDonald and Emmeline MacDonald; and her siblings, Sterling, Patricia, Joan, John, Lewis and Gloria.

She is survived by: her husband Leo; her children, John (Fredericton), Marnie Desbas (Stanley), Peggy, Gail Taylor (Chris), Becky Chisholm (Sackville) and Sara Hutt (John); her grandchildren, Angus, Alex, Ella, Emmelia, Charlie, Mac, Lillian and Grace; and her sisters, Lorraine MacDonald and Dorothy Scott.
